Aadhar Card Address Change Documents: To live in India, people must have some documents. These documents are needed for different purposes every day. These include documents like driving license, PAN card, voter card, ration card, and Aadhaar card. But the most commonly used document among these is the Aadhaar card. Currently, 90 percent of the country’s population has an Aadhaar card.
While making an Aadhaar card, people often enter some wrong information. In such a situation, UIDAI gives people a chance to make corrections in the Aadhaar card, to update their information. You are often given a chance to update the address in the Aadhaar card. However, for this, you have to upload some documents along with it. Only then the address is updated. Which documents can you use to change the address, let us tell you their complete list.
These documents can be used to change the address
UIDAI has laid down some rules and conditions for updating many things in the Aadhaar card. For example, you can change the date of birth only once. Your name can be changed twice in the Aadhaar card. You can change your address as many times as you want. There is no restriction or rule regarding this. UIDAI has released a list of 45 documents to change the address in the Aadhaar card. You can use any of these documents to get your address updated in the Aadhaar card.
